Yes. Scanning, reading, checking and delivery happen on your own PC or server, without the cloud. The app contacts us now and then for the license and updates. Without a connection, your license stays valid until its expiry date.

No. The desktop app and the Windows service work on their own. The portal and the phone app are an add-on, for checking in the browser or on the road, or for an archive with retention periods.

Any scanner with a TWAIN or WIA driver, with a document feeder and duplex. DataSnap also reads PDFs and images from a network folder, a mailbox or over SFTP.

We do, together with you, during the installation. After that you adapt them yourself in the workflow designer, without code, or you ask us.

DataSnap delivers a searchable PDF/A and the data as XML to a folder, by e-mail, over SFTP or FTPS, or with an HTTP call to your software's API. A direct integration, for example to HL7 or FHIR, we build when you need it.

Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). The Windows service also processes documents when nobody is signed in.

Recognition and AI run on your own PC or server. An extra page costs us nothing, so we do not charge for it, however much you scan. Only what runs on our servers counts towards the volume in your package.

Every document we process on our servers: text recognition, a workflow or AI in the cloud. A document of 1 to 20 pages counts as one. A longer document counts once for every 20 pages or part of 20, so 45 pages count as three. What the desktop or the service processes on your premises does not count. If you use AI with your own key, we charge no AI costs. The document does count towards your volume.

At 80% and at 100% you get a notice in the portal. Processing carries on as normal. We get in touch and settle once a year: you order an extra block, or next year you take the package that fits.

A one-day remote start-up costs €950. In that day we install DataSnap, set up your first workflow and train your people to use it. For a larger project with three days of support we charge €2,850, and €850 for each day after that. Excl. VAT.

The license, all updates and support by e-mail. With Extended, phone support as well.

Yes. The license comes from the portal. After an upgrade the new features are on straight away, without reinstalling.

No. We work with annual licenses. With a three-year contract your price stays the same for all three years.

They are already in PDF/A and XML in your own folders or archive. You export your settings and workflows with the built-in backup.

No. Partners use the same prices, packages included.

If you use only the desktop app and the Windows service, we process none of your documents. If you use the portal or the phone app, you choose per step in the workflow what may go to the cloud.

No. We do not train models with customers' documents. What DataSnap learns from your corrections stays with you. If you want a model of your own based on your documents, we build it at your request, and it is used only for you.

At vshosting, in a data centre in the Czech Republic, inside the European Union. E-mail from the portal goes through Mailgun in the European Union.

No. The AI recognises the type of document and reads fields. For every value you see where it is on the page, and you can make review mandatory per field.
